Commemorating the cooperation between Mostostal Płock and Płock Zoo
A plaque has been placed in Płock Zoo to commemorate the renovation of the shark aquarium, carried out by Mostostal Płock. The project was completed as part of a cooperation with the local Płock community.
- Like our company, the zoo has been a presence in Płock for several decades. The dynamic growth of Mostostal Płock has allowed us to undertake contracts across Poland and beyond. Therefore, we are always pleased when we have the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment right here at home, in Płock - said Jacek Szymanek, President of the Management Board of Mostostal Płock, regarding the work at Płock Zoo.
The sharks have returned home
Mostostal Płock replaced the existing elements, which had corroded due to moisture and salt exposure, with new acid-resistant steel supports made from grade 316, ensuring the structure’s durability for many years to come.
After the renovation, the sharks returned from their temporary pool to the aquarium, once again delighting visitors at Płock Zoo.
