Mostostal Płock with a strategic contract with PERN

On 4 December athe consortium of Mostostal Płock and Mostostal Warszawa PERN signed a contract with PERN for the construction of tanks in Boronów and Rejowiec.

The task that Mostostal Płock will carry out as part of a consortium with Mostostal Warszawa includes the construction of a storage tank with a capacity of 10 thousand cub. m at the Fuel Base in Boronów and two storage tanks with a capacity of 32 thousand cub. m at the Fuel Base in Rejowiec.

- Storage tanks are one of the main elements of the specialization of Mostostal Płock. Qualified staff ensures the implementation of the most complex facilities of this type, an example of which is the construction of the largest crude oil tank in Poland with a capacity of 100,000 m3 for PERN. m3 with a double bottom and a coat and a floating roof in St-1 Adamowo - says Jacek Szymanek, President of the Management Board of Mostostal Płock. - The Consortium of Mostostal Warszawa and Mostostal Płock is an example of good cooperation within our capital group. With jointly implemented projects, we can achieve the synergy effect not only in the business sense, but also in technology, which is related to the combination of many years of experience in the market of construction of tanks and industrial installations and other segments of the construction sector.

- Mostostal Warszawa will implement the projekt related to the construction of storage tanks for petroleum products. We are currently finalizing the extension of the PERN Fuel Base in Gdańsk, where together with Mostostal Płock we are putting up two tanks of 100,000 cub. m each - says Jorge Calabuig Ferre, Vice President of the Management Board of Mostostal Warszawa. Industrial and energy construction is an increasingly important element of our portfolio, and it makes it more diversified.

The expansion of the capacity of the Fuel Depots is one of PERN's investments, which result from the Policy of the Government of the Republic of Poland adopted by the Council of Ministers for the logistics infrastructure in the oil sector and are reflected in the Company's strategy until 2022.

Completion date: 56 weeks from the date of signing the contract
The maximum warranty period is 60 months.

Consortium of Mostostal Płock and Mostostal Warszawa and is currently carrying out the task of with the expansion of the PERN Fuel Base in Gdańsk.

Thanks to the expansion, the storage capacity of the Base will increase from 900 thousand. m3 to 1.1 million m3.
