Mostostal Płock with a foreign contract for the prefabrication and installation of steel tanks for storing crude oil
On November 7, 2023, Mostostal Płock signed a contract with the Czech company Metrostav a.s. for the prefabrication and installation of six steel tanks, each with a capacity of 10,000 m3. The contract is valued at 31.2 million PLN net.
- Using the trust we have gained in the domestic market, we are expanding our offering to other markets within the European Union - says Jacek Szymanek, the President of the Management Board of Mostostal Płock. -The contract we have signed in the Czech Republic serves as evidence that Mostostal Płock, as well as the other companies within the Mostostal Warszawa Capital Group, can successfully grow not only in Poland but also in Europe.
The tank installation is scheduled for the period between April 1, 2024 and October 1, 2025. The quality guarantee for the completed project is 36 months, starting from the date of the final acceptance protocol signed by the investor.
Metrostav DIZ a.s., the company that signed the contract with Mostostal Płock, is the general contractor for the investment. It is a construction company operating in the Czech market and on 12 foreign markets. Its key areas of activity include transportation projects, the construction of underground facilities, civil engineering, as well as projects for the industrial and eco-friendly construction sectors, serving both public and private investors.
The main investor for this project is ČEPRO a.s. a Czech state-owned company primarily involved in the transportation, storage, and sale of petroleum products. The company also operates its own network of gas stations under the EuroOil brand.
