Mostostal Płock uses green energy
A photovoltaic installation of more than 360 kWp has been installed on the roof of the workshop halls at Mostostal Płock. This means reduced environmental impact, a reduced carbon footprint and financial savings on energy purchases.
The installation consists of 789 photovoltaic panels, each with a capacity of 460 Wp. The total capacity of the installation is 362.94 kWp. According to estimates, the commissioning of the installation will avoid the emission of more than 245 tonnes of CO2 per year and save approximately 30% of the electricity expenses consumed at the Company's facilities.
Installation of the plant was completed in August. We are currently awaiting connection to the power grid.
- Growing concern for the environment is leading companies around the world to look for innovative ways to reduce their impact on the planet. We are proud that, as a Group, we are consistently implementing our environmental impact strategy and that we have joined this green movement by installing photovoltaic panels on the roof of our workshop hall in Plock. This is an important step towards a more sustainable future that benefits both the environment and our company - says Jacek Szymanek, President of the Management Board of Mostostal Płock.
