60 years ago Mostostal Płock was founded

This year we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Mostostal Płock - one of the most experienced Polish companies operating in the Oil & Gas sector, as well as in the chemical, energy and food industries.

Mostostal Płock is a company with a long history and traditions. From the beginning of its existence, it focused on the production of steel structures for various applications, such as storage tanks, bridges, industrial halls, towers, spatial structures and many others. Over the years, this company has gained a reputation and trust of its customers thanks to the high quality of the products offered and timely execution of orders.

The company was founded in 1963, when the Płock Steel Construction and Industrial Equipment Company was established to meet the needs of the Płock refinery under construction.

In 1970, the construction of the company's current headquarters at 12 Targowa Street, an office building, production halls and storage facilities for the Construction Production Plant, workshops for the Equipment and Transportation Depot and warehouses with a railroad siding was completed. The functioning enterprise was transformed into a joint stock company Mostostal Płock in 1993. In 1998, Mostostal Płock purchased 50% of the assets of the Płock River Shipyard and formed Centromost together with Centromor S.A. In the same year, Mostostal Płock made its debut on the Stock Exchange and gained a Strategic Investor - Mostostal Warszawa S.A. Since 1999, Mostostal Płock has been part of the Mostostal Warszawa Group.

During the 60 years of its existence, Mostostal Płock has undergone many changes. In recent years, the company has invested in the development of new technologies and machinery, which has allowed it to increase production efficiency. Currently, Mostostal Płock is a modern enterprise that offers its services in the design, production and assembly of steel structures. Among the main products and services offered by Mostostal Płock are the manufacture and assembly of storage tanks, prefabrication and assembly of industrial installations, pipelines. The company has its own equipment base and a certified welding training center. The company's customer portfolio includes such companies as PKN Orlen S.A., Lotos S.A. and PERN S.A.

- The 60th anniversary is an opportunity for Mostostal Płock to reflect on the company's achievements and to highlight the role the company has played in the development of industry in Poland. It is also a moment to thank the company's employees for their contribution to the development of the company and their commitment to the implementation of projects - says Jacek Szymanek, President of the Management Board of Mostostal Płock and Member of the Management Board of Mostostal Warsaw. - On the 60th anniversary of the founding of our company, our connection to Płock draws attention. We are a well-known company and an important employer. Recent years have been a time of dynamic growth, which goes hand in hand with the development of the city.

Over the years, Mostostal Płock has completed many important projects, such as the construction of strategic energy infrastructure facilities, bridges and industrial halls. In recent years, the company has successfully built a number of storage tanks with a capacity of up to 100,000 cubic meters at PERN bases in Dęebogórze, Nowa Wieś Wielka and Koluszki, Rejowiec, Boronowo, and Gdańsk.
